Year 6 are busy reconstructing dinosaurs as a timed challenge. John, our caretaker used our new jigsaw to cut out the pieces from MDF using a template. It took him ages! The children have worked collaboratively to follow a set of instructions and create a model dinosaur. The best time so far is just under 25 minutes.
Slow down and BRAKE! June 17, 2009
In support of the campaign group ‘Brake’ we walked around the field today as a school. Our banner urged drivers to slow down to 20 mph in built up areas and around schools as a means of saving lives in any future accidents. It was wet and windy and our banner got a little soggy!
Year 5 – African Music June 14, 2009
During the half term, Year 5 created their own African Music using drums and other percussion instruments. Some of the girls then got together and produced a dance to go with the music. The results were FANTASTIC!!! Look for yourselves.

A wordle is a program that takes all the words off a website or document and then makes a pattern from them. The bigger the word the more often it has been used. I think this says alot about our school and our values. Click on the picture to see the whole wordle.
