Look how tall it is!

Some Year 1 children went outside this morning to measure things in and around school. We learned how to use the words ‘length’, height’ and ‘width’ and also how to compare things as ‘longer/wider/taller/shorter’. We had great fun! We recorded our results in a diagram.

I’m very interested in this maths work. Please could somebody come to my office and explain in more detail. I get lots of children bringing literacy work but not so many maths.
