Litter survey November 7, 2008

Filed under: School — charlestownprimary @ 6:30 am

In assembly this morning Mr Gauld reminded us that people were dropping litter in the playground. We decided in our Numeracy group to collect some continuous data over the next couple of weeks to see if the situation changes. We’ll keep you posted.

I’m looking forward to seeing your results.

Just out of interest… how did you make your ‘rubbish’ picture, with the photo forming the background of the letters? I’d love to be able to do that!

What a great way to bring an issue the kids see everyday into the classroom as a learning activity. Talk about authenticity! Great idea, I am looking forward to seeing the results.
