Year 2 enjoyed a super trip to the seaside. It was just like I remember from my childhood; sand between the toes, Punch and Judy, Kamikaze seagulls trying to pinch our sandwiches (they were successful in the case of John’s Sausage and Mrs Batty’s ice cream), a walk on the pier and ice creams for all. Thanks to Mrs Batty for organising it all and to John and Miss Turner for supporting the trip.

Our Visit March 2, 2009
Year 1 joined Year 2 and we all visited Quarry Bank Mill in the village of Styal. We spent the day there, looking round the Mill and the Apprentice House then, after lunch, walking across to see the cottages and church.
